As the church, we can take people from a place of vulnerability and isolation, to a place of connection, where they thrive.
Let My People Go is dedicated to building a network of well-equipped churches capable of loving those most vulnerable in their churches and communities. Practically, this "love" is evidenced throughout the congregation as the church identifies, empowers, protects, and includes those who traffickers would normally target.
Let My People Go is committed to empowering the local church to discover the unique mission to which God has called it. While any church can begin a ministry to the vulnerable, not every church can actually sustain this ministry overtime. For this reason, LMPG paces with each church as they aim to empower their congregation to care for the hurting in their respective communities.
Our strategy is to introduce an innovative framework that is both congregational and collaborative, with the Gospel as its motive; offering training, support, coaching, networking and resourcing. In our approach, we are flexible and multi-faceted, empowering churches to identify those most vulnerable in their communities.
What are our partner churches saying?
The Let My People Go Experience is essentially an "anti-trafficking bootcamp," with the goal of equipping church mission teams and university students to fight human trafficking by loving those who are vulnerable. Whether your group comes for 3 or 5 days, each attendee will receive on-the-ground training in NYC that will equip them to better care for those who are hurting in your own community.
At LMPG, we are always looking for driven, professional, Gospel-motivated interns passionate about learning to fight human trafficking by loving those most vulnerable. Interns will gain valuable experience at an anti-trafficking 501(c)3 non-profit organization in NYC, as well as be able to apply what they have learned back into their local church context upon returning home.
